Italian 30 Minutes 2 Veg
2 cups Penne pasta
2 tbsp butter
½ cup Maida (all-purpose flour)
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup Processed cheese
1 Bay leaf
1 Garlic clove; minced
A slice of onion; chopped
1 cup Bell peppers (red, yellow & green)
3 Broccoli florets
2 tbsp Whipped cream
TO MAKE THE WHITE SAUCE
In a deep pan, add butter with maida and blend well.
In another pan, low heat the milk. Add the peppercorns, bay leaf, garlic and onions.
Strain the infused milk into the maida batter and blend well. Strain the paste
TO BOIL PASTA
Add enough water and get it to boil.
Add Azafran’S Organic Sunflower Oil
Add penne pasta and salt.
Once cooked, drain the pasta and keep it aside
MAKING THE PASTA
Add 2 tbsp of Sunflower Oil in a pan. Add garlic and onion stirring well.
Add oregano, bell peppers and broccoli. Add the white sauce.
Add parmesan cheese and processed cheese. Add a little water for consistency and mix well.
Add fresh basil and salt to taste.
Now add the boiled pasta along with whipped cream.
The longer it simmers, the thicker the white sauce gets.
The sauce does not reheat well and tends to separate.
