1 tablespoon grated lemon zest and 3 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup butter
Take a bowl and whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. Keep it aside and mix well together with butter and sugar. Add eggs to that mixture and beat it well. Now, mix both the mixtures together and add buttermilk, lemon zest and juice to it. Blend everything well until a smooth paste is formed. Keep it in oven which Already preheated to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake it for about 1 hour to get a freshly baked Lemon Cake!
